Abstract	This supplement to the 1978 Annual Report of the Coordinating Board, Texas College and University System, contains comprehensive statistical data on higher education in Texas. The supplement provides facts, figures, and formulas relating to student enrollments and faculty headcounts, program development and productivity, faculty salaries and teaching loads, campus development, finance, and the student loan program. The information is presented under the following headings: student enrollment data; faculty headcount data; senior colleges; community colleges and continuing education; faculty salaries and teaching loads; physical facilities and campus planning data; formulas for financing higher education; legislative appropriations for higher education; expenditures and sources of funds for organized research; Hinson-Hazlewood College Student Loan Program, Tuition Equalization Grants Program, and State Student Incentive Grants Program; and Coordinating Board expenditures. A list is provided of the public senior colleges and universities; public medical, dental, and allied health units; public community colleges; public technical institutes; independent senior colleges and universities; independent medical, dental, and allied health units; and independent junior colleges included in the system. A cumulative list of publications by the Coordinating Board is also included. (SC)
